The 2025 Kia EV6 GT: Bold Color, Bold Power—641 HP at Your Command

2024 Kia EV6

Pushing the boundaries of innovation, the
2025 Kia EV6 GT elevates electric performance with its exceptional speed, precise handling, and advanced engineering here at Jim Butler Kia of St. Louis. With a powerful 641 horsepower under the hood, this all-wheel-drive electric crossover is ready to deliver a thrilling ride. Kia has given the 2025 model a refreshed look, enhancing both its power and driving experience. While these updates were unveiled last month at the LA Auto Show, we've only just gotten a peek at the GT model—until now.

Thanks to fresh images posted on Kia's Korean website, we finally see the 2025 EV6 GT in all its glory. While it keeps the same sleek shape as its predecessor, it stands out with subtle upgrades. The most noticeable change? The 21-inch wheels have a more intricate design. Peek behind them, and you'll spot lime-green brake calipers, giving this performance model a distinct visual identity—it's a true sleeper, hiding its incredible power behind a stylish exterior.

The previous version clocked 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, and with its new 641-hp engine, the 2025 EV6 GT will surely be even quicker. Inside, Kia continues the bold lime-green theme, but with a refined touch. The eye-catching color appears on the HVAC vents, the GT button on the steering wheel, and even the stitching and stripes on the seats. The EV6 GT also introduces a new three-spoke steering wheel, replacing the previous two-spoke design.

For those who want an even more immersive experience, paddle shifters on the back of the wheel allow drivers to simulate gear changes—another feature borrowed from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Even without the paddles, the EV6 GT can mimic the feel of a dual-clutch automatic, and fake exhaust sounds enhance the experience of driving a gas-powered sports car—except it’s electric.

The GT-Line S is more than just a performance machine—it’s a perfect family car with plenty of punch when you need it. With a 0-60 mph time of just 5.3 seconds and 446 lb-ft of torque, this electric crossover has the acceleration to leave anything short of a high-end sports sedan in the dust. It combines exhilarating speed with practicality, making it a versatile choice for spirited drives and everyday errands.

What sets it apart is the instant power. The moment you press the pedal, the EV6 delivers a surge of torque that traditional vehicles often can’t match. While performance may level out at highway speeds, this family-friendly powerhouse excels in urban driving, offering a quick and exhilarating ride that perfectly balances excitement with everyday practicality.

The 2025 Kia EV6 has taken a major leap forward with a new, upgraded battery pack. Kia has increased the capacity from 77.4 kWh to 84.0 kWh, boosting the EV6’s maximum range to an impressive 361 miles on a full charge, up from 328 miles. That’s a 10% improvement in range, giving this electric crossover a significant edge—now it outpaces the Volkswagen ID.5 by 17 miles, making long drives even easier and more convenient for your family.

Kia has yet to announce the official pricing for the 2025 EV6 GT, but it's anticipated to come in slightly above the previous model's starting point. This groundbreaking electric vehicle is on track to reach dealerships in the first half of next year, bringing its electrifying performance to the streets.

K4-ever Yours: The 2025 Kia K4 is the Glow-Up Your Drive Deserves

2025 Kia K4

Finding a new car packed with modern features is challenging, but the
Kia K4 makes it look easy. It’s a compact sedan that delivers a surprising level of refinement, and if you’re all about comfort and convenience, this one checks all the right boxes. Think heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof that lets the light flood in, and a sound system that makes every drive feel like a private concert.

The K4 offers two powertrain options, giving you the versatility to choose the performance that best suits your driving style here at Jim Butler Kia of St. Louis. The base model carries over a proven 147-hp, 2.0-liter inline-four engine paired with front-wheel drive and a smooth continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). It’s not a speed demon, but Its power fits right in with the class standard, where most competitors offer around 140 to 150 horsepower.

For those who want a bit more pep, Kia does offer a turbocharged 190-hp engine in the GT-Line Turbo trim. But even in its base configuration, the K4 doesn’t disappoint. It feels composed on the road, offering the kind of ride quality that makes everyday driving enjoyable.

The K4 is much more than just a rehash of its predecessor, the Forte. It’s a thoughtfully updated model with plenty of appeal for anyone who wants a small sedan with big features. Whether you’re commuting or cruising, it’s a solid pick that blends style, practicality, and just the right touch of luxury.

The Kia K4 focuses on delivering a comfortable and practical driving experience. Its 2.0-liter engine provides smooth performance, with Kia’s attention to detail ensuring that engine noise and vibrations are kept out of the cabin. Even during higher revs, the ride remains calm and composed, making every journey enjoyable and refined.

The transmission even includes "shift" points and paddle shifters to give a sporty vibe, but let’s be honest—they’re more about appearances than making the drive feel dynamic. The K4’s handling is impressively stable through corners, complemented by a ride quality that remains composed and smooth throughout your drive. It’s a sedan that prioritizes smoothness and stability, making it perfect for everyday driving.

The GT-Line trim gets a multilink rear suspension, which helps it feel planted in turns. The lower trims come equipped with a torsion-beam setup, but regardless of the configuration, the ride quality throughout the lineup is impressively well-balanced. The suspension is finely tuned to provide a smooth and comfortable driving experience, ensuring that every journey feels relaxed and composed.

The K4 really shines inside the cabin. It’s spacious for its class, with thoughtful finishes and tons of features that feel like they belong in a higher segment. All models get a digital gauge cluster, and most trims offer an impressive dual-screen setup that spans the dashboard. The infotainment system is user-friendly and loaded with connectivity options.

If you step up to the GT-Line trim, you’ll get stylish 18-inch wheels and sleek exterior touches. Adding the Premium package takes things to the next level with luxurious extras like ventilated front seats, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and memory settings for the driver’s seat. Those features are hard to come by in most compact sedans, making the K4 a standout choice for anyone who appreciates upscale touches in an everyday ride.

The 2025 Kia K4 stands out with its clear focus on delivering value and practicality. Rather than chasing features like hybrid powertrains or all-wheel drive, this sedan concentrates on providing an impressive array of high-end features in a well-thought-out package. It’s rare to find such a blend of comfort, technology, and style in this class, making the K4 a smart choice for those who appreciate thoughtful design and generous amenities in their daily driver.
