Pushing the boundaries of innovation, the 2025 Kia EV6 GT elevates electric performance with its exceptional speed, precise handling, and advanced engineering here at Jim Butler Kia of St. Louis. With a powerful 641 horsepower under the hood, this all-wheel-drive electric crossover is ready to deliver a thrilling ride. Kia has given the 2025 model a refreshed look, enhancing both its power and driving experience. While these updates were unveiled last month at the LA Auto Show, we've only just gotten a peek at the GT model—until now.
Thanks to fresh images posted on Kia's Korean website, we finally see the 2025 EV6 GT in all its glory. While it keeps the same sleek shape as its predecessor, it stands out with subtle upgrades. The most noticeable change? The 21-inch wheels have a more intricate design. Peek behind them, and you'll spot lime-green brake calipers, giving this performance model a distinct visual identity—it's a true sleeper, hiding its incredible power behind a stylish exterior.
The previous version clocked 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, and with its new 641-hp engine, the 2025 EV6 GT will surely be even quicker. Inside, Kia continues the bold lime-green theme, but with a refined touch. The eye-catching color appears on the HVAC vents, the GT button on the steering wheel, and even the stitching and stripes on the seats. The EV6 GT also introduces a new three-spoke steering wheel, replacing the previous two-spoke design.
For those who want an even more immersive experience, paddle shifters on the back of the wheel allow drivers to simulate gear changes—another feature borrowed from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Even without the paddles, the EV6 GT can mimic the feel of a dual-clutch automatic, and fake exhaust sounds enhance the experience of driving a gas-powered sports car—except it’s electric.
The GT-Line S is more than just a performance machine—it’s a perfect family car with plenty of punch when you need it. With a 0-60 mph time of just 5.3 seconds and 446 lb-ft of torque, this electric crossover has the acceleration to leave anything short of a high-end sports sedan in the dust. It combines exhilarating speed with practicality, making it a versatile choice for spirited drives and everyday errands.
What sets it apart is the instant power. The moment you press the pedal, the EV6 delivers a surge of torque that traditional vehicles often can’t match. While performance may level out at highway speeds, this family-friendly powerhouse excels in urban driving, offering a quick and exhilarating ride that perfectly balances excitement with everyday practicality.
The 2025 Kia EV6 has taken a major leap forward with a new, upgraded battery pack. Kia has increased the capacity from 77.4 kWh to 84.0 kWh, boosting the EV6’s maximum range to an impressive 361 miles on a full charge, up from 328 miles. That’s a 10% improvement in range, giving this electric crossover a significant edge—now it outpaces the Volkswagen ID.5 by 17 miles, making long drives even easier and more convenient for your family.
Kia has yet to announce the official pricing for the 2025 EV6 GT, but it's anticipated to come in slightly above the previous model's starting point. This groundbreaking electric vehicle is on track to reach dealerships in the first half of next year, bringing its electrifying performance to the streets.
