The KIA Cadenza Takes 1st Place in Recent Comparison among Full-Size Sedans
Jim Butler KIA is proud to announce that the all new KIA
Cadenza scored high reviews in a recent comparison among other full-size sedans
coming in 1st place. Among the KIA Cadenza, other full-size sedans
included the Chevy Impala, Toyota Avalon, Chrysler 300S and Ford Taurus. These
vehicles would have to display ride comfort, interior refinement, performance,
fuel economy, safety, and value.
The KIA Cadenza impressed with its 3.3-liter mill and
paddle-shiftable six-speed auto. The KIA Cadenza tied for second-quickest
quarter-mile time with the most powerful car in the group, the Chevy Impala.
Unlike the Chevy Impala which had a difficult time finding the right gear on
hilly or winding roads, most editors thought the KIA Cadenza’s shift paddles
were well-placed.
The interior of the KIA Cadenza received high reviews for
its comfort ability. Although the KIA Cadenza seemed to have a few inches less
of leg room in the rear cabin compared to the Toyota, when sitting in the rear
cabin there is not much of a difference in actual space. The KIA Cadenza was
also praised for its rear-window sunshade, soft leather upholstery and heated
and cooled front seats.
Let’s not forget about safety. The KIA Cadenza has adaptive
cruise control, lane-departure warning, precollision systems, adaptive
lighting, blind-spot monitoring and eight airbags.
In comparison to the Toyota Avalon, the KIA Cadenza won the value prize having better interior space with better materials, 19-inch wheels and lane-departure warning all for a lessor price. The KIA Cadenza was the second cheapest car of the group with one of the highest values.
