Kia to Celebrate Virtual Debut of Brand-New SUV Crafted For Adventurists

As pumpkins and festive costumes become more commonplace around Jim Butler Kia, we are excited to once again celebrate the most fun time of the year! An important virtual debut is taking place as a “mystery SUV” will boast a variety of powerful and efficient engines.

This all-new SUV is set to arrive with multiple standard advanced driver assistance systems and the best and latest in high-tech infotainment options. Drivers who seek adventure will be happy with a new level of off-road capability thanks to a substantially increased ground clearance, capable all-terrain tires, and multiple driver-selectable terrain modes.

Since crossovers have clearly carved themselves a spot in the current consumer landscape, it only makes sense that this will be the type of new vehicle coming soon. Off-road capability is key for buyers, and smoother travel over bumpy surfaces will all be possible with this thrilling and wilderness-ready model.

While you’re waiting on these awesome arrivals, check out the 2022 Seltos! Sized between the Soul and Sportage in Kia’s SUV lineup, it adequately pairs style with practicality. The Seltos shares its powertrains and overall platform with the smaller Hyundai Kona, which gives it the perfect daily drive and impressive fuel economy numbers.

Kia has another crowd favorite in the Kia Telluride, which has been Edmund’s top-rated SUV for two years in a row. Every model now comes standard with a 10.25-inch touchscreen that includes navigation. Automatic climate control keeps up to eight passengers perfectly cooled or heated. Capable and gutsy, Kia’s SUV lineup is about to get even better!

2022 Kia Forte Arrives With 41 MPH Highway Rating and Spectacular GT Line

The 2022 Kia Forte compact sedan is arriving with a dynamic GT-Line that infuses a perfect amount of sporty personality to an already striking model. The GT-Line adds 17-inch wheels, athletic exterior styling, a performance-style steering wheel, and sports seats with a synthetic leather finish.

The GT offers legendary and exhilarating performance with a 201-horsepower turbo 4-cylinder engine and is one of the last models with an available manual transmission. The Forte confidently announces its arrival with an updated tiger-nose grille, and a larger 4.2-inch TFT LCD cluster that comes standard on all trims. There is also now an available rear USB charger to keep everyone in the back fully charged and digitally occupied, and a grand total of 111.3 cubic feet for cargo and passenger volume.

The revised front and rear bumpers, stylish new trunk lid spoiler, and new 10.25-inch widescreen navigation display are sure to make the 2022 Forte a hit. There’s also a new electronic parking brake with auto hold, a major plus for anyone with a steep driveway or street parking!

When it comes to safety features, Kia has always been at the front of the pack. The Drive Wise assistance suite adds six standard features, with navigation-based adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance, lane following assist, and safety exit warning. Available Highway Driving Assist takes into account the highway speed limit, and will automatically adjust speed to allow for an optimal and safe distance from the vehicle in front. The Available Safe Exit Warning feature uses amazing high-tech assistance to alert the passengers or driver if any potential hazards are approaching from behind after you reach your destination and are getting out of the car.

2022 Sorento PHEV Primed to Dominate the Dirt and X-Cross Class During Rebelle Rally

The 2021 Rebelle Rally is set to take place in just a few days! This is an all-out desert fiasco demanding all forms of extreme navigation, Kia will have two entries: a pair of 2022 Sorento PHEVs that will represent the “electrified” designation.

Seeing its official worldwide launch last year, the Rebelle Rally is the perfect opportunity for EVs, plug-in hybrids, and conventional hybrids to demonstrate their abilities off-road. The Sorento Plug-in Hybrid is part of the Plan S electrification strategy, and a few of the most talented female drivers in the nation are introducing the PHEV to Kia consumers as a new, electrified means of enjoying the various trails and opportunities for solitude in the great outdoors.

During last year’s race, the Kia Telluride scored a close second during the X-cross class, and for 2021, Alyssia Roenigk and her seasoned spotter Sabrina Howells are pairing up again to crush this challenge! We are confident they will outpace the 4x4 group tackling the Imperial Sand Dunes just as they did last time. The PHEV is the perfect vehicle for a task that requires precision steering, aptitude, and thorough knowledge of every component of the vehicle as it works in unison with the driver.

At the helm of the second Sorento PHEV is professional rally driver Verena Meia, who has a winning background in motorsports. She’ll race with her grade-A navigator Tana White, who has demonstrated her mastery of everything a driver can come across during a rally! On top of being one of the odds-on favorites during the Rebelle Rally, Kia America is also proud to be a Rebelle Rally sponsor, a partnership that has felt like a natural fit since day one.

The plug-in hybrids competing during this rally will see minimal modifications, and their design will draw noticeable inspiration from adventure and outdoor concepts we have seen in the past. The 2022 PHEV boasts an EPA-estimated 32-mile pure electric driving range, which is at the top of the list in its class of 3-row PHEV SUVs. The Rebelle Rally will test participants over eight grueling days of competition and is not merely for speed, but also measures expertise needed for hidden checkpoints, distance reading maps, roadbook, and valuable compass skills. The Rebelle Rally represents a huge chance for these talented women to shine and show the world just how thoroughly authentic, raw, and though they all are!

Kia Telluride and Forte Lead the Pack With All-Time Sales Record During Q3 of 2021

This year, both the Forte and Telluride were at the front of the pack with third quarter sales that set a record. This sales success was the highest-ever retail performance for the first nine months of any year, realizing a 9% increase over the previous record from five years ago.

During September, Kia successfully sold 77 percent of all available inventory, with a substantial increase in sales of hybrid and battery-electric powered vehicles. This record-setting performance during Q3 has been a positive indicator that this upward trend will continue well into the coming year and paved the way for heightened interest in the EV6.

The 2021 Kia Forte is well-known for its great styling, long list of features, and fun drive. Outpacing the Honda Civic, Mazda 3, and Toyota Corolla, the Forte delivers stellar fuel economy, unique style, and deliciously sporty GT Model.

The 2021 Kia Telluride is Kia’s largest SUV and can seat up to eight. Edmunds.com said the Telluride does “everything leaps and bounds better than the rest.” With a smooth ride and an abundance of technology and safety features, you'll be enjoying Kia’s first-class warranty protection.

The pair effortlessly combines good looks with stellar road performance, and each has enough power to assure you are getting the most out of your ride! The Telluride’s cabin offers luxury-car-quiet even while moving at highway speeds, and displays a breed of strength that can work its way up the canyon or hillside with ease.
