The K900 Coming to Jim Butler KIA in the Future

It has been announced that the K900 flagship rear-drive sedan will be making its way to the United States. We can expect to see the KIA K900 in St. Louis at Jim Butler KIA sometime in early 2014.

The full-size sedan first went by the name of the Quoris but was changed shortly after to a more popular choice, the K900.

Two different engines are projected to be offered for the KIA K900- a 3.8-liter V6 and a 5.0-liter V-8. The V-6 puts out 290 horsepower while the V-8 is estimated to have around 420 horsepower.

The KIA K900 will come with features that include LED headlights and advanced safety features. These safety features include high-tech driving assistance, radar-based Advanced Smart Cruise Control, and Advanced Vehicle Safety Management (AVSM). The AVSM controls the Electronic Stability Control, seat-belt mechanisms and multiple warning systems

The 2014 KIA Sportage Coming to Jim Butler KIA

With better mileage and revised fog lights and grille, the 2014 KIA Sportage will be arriving at Jim Butler KIA in St. Louis soon. Jim Butler KIA can’t wait to get the new KIA Sportage on the lot in St. Louis with all of the new upgrades!

The 2014 KIA Sportage 2.4-liter I-4 engine, now with direct-injection tech, produces 182 horsepower at 6000 rpm. The updated engine gets 177 Ib-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. EPA-rated fuel economy figures have not yet been released but are expected to go up from the previous years.

When it comes to suspension tuning, high-performance dampers will be standard on all 2014 KIA Sportages. Extra chrome trim has been added to the front grille along with slightly redesigned fog lights and taillights.

The 2014 KIA Sportage comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels and privacy glass and will offer features such as a panoramic sunroof, power-folding side mirrors, HID headlights and UVO eServices.

The KIA Niro Concept Vehicle

Jim Butler KIA in St. Louis is hopeful that the KIA Niro concept vehicle will go to production in the future. The KIA Niro is a concept compact crossover that is making its debut at the Frankfurt auto show.

Designed by an award winning designer, Peter Schreyer, the KIA Niro concept car has a sporty hatchback shape that would look great on the streets in St. Louis! The KIA Niro works like a jeep getting more ground clearance due to its large wheels. The exterior also features LED headlights and scissor doors that reach into the roof.

On the inside you will find a futuristic look with a TFT screen in the center of the dashboard. More information about the KIA Niro concept car will be revealed after the concept vehicle is displayed at the Frankfurt auto show. It is undetermined if the KIA Niro concept vehicle will ever reach production.

The 2014 KIA Soul Coming to Jim Butler KIA

The all-new 2014 KIA Soul will be arriving later this year at Jim Butler KIA in St. Louis. The 2014 KIA Soul has revised styling providing more room and a quieter engine along with two engine options.

The base model will feature a 130-hp 1.6-liter direct-injection I-4 engine with either a six-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic.  The 2014 KIA Soul base model comes standard with Bluetooth, 16-inch steel wheels, steering wheel mounted audio controls, tinted rear windows, four-wheel disc brakes and power windows.

The mid-range model, the Soul +, has a 2.0-liter direct-injection I-4 that produces 164 hp and 151 Ib-ft of torque. The 2014 KIA Soul + has automatic headlights, 17-inch rims, rearview camera, and remote keyless entry. An optional audio package is available which includes touch-screen navigation, premium audio, and automatic climate control. Drivers may also purchase the Primo package which adds a panoramic sunroof, leather seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated seats, heated steering wheel, push button start, fog lights and chrome interior accents.

The highest option of the 2014 KIA Soul is the Soul !. The 2014 KIA Soul ! adds in projector beam headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, power-folding side-view mirrors, climate controlled glove box and power-adjustable driver’s seat. For navigation, premium sound, automatic climate control, and panoramic sunroof, drivers can purchase the Sun and Sound package.

KIA Shows Off New Concept Car

KIA plans on revealing a new concept car at the upcoming International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September. KIA states that the vehicle will strictly be a concept car to show off the future ideas for a new small production car.

 Whether it will be a sports car or luxury sports coupe we are still unsure.  What would you like to see at Jim Butler KIA, a 300+ horsepower coupe or a big luxury coupe?

From what the pictures reveal, the new concept car appears to be a coupe with front LED lights and a stylish body frame. We are able to see a bit more on the interior that displays anodized paddle shifters mounted to a sporty steering wheel and molded seats. The interior also has icons on a row of buttons that suggest that the concept vehicle will have four-wheel drive.

2013 KIA Sportage Makes Best Back-to-School Cars List at Jim Butler KIA

KIA Gets Top Ratings in J.D. Power APEAL Study

 

In a recent study conducted by J.D. Power, three vehicles at Jim Butler KIA received high ratings for a second consecutive year. The J.D. Power 2013 Automotive Performance, Executive and Layout (APEAL) Study focused on the importance of technology. Jim Butler is proud to have these vehicles on the lot in St. Louis!

The 2013 KIA Optima, Rio, and Soul at Jim Butler KIA all ranked at the top of their segments in the APEAL Study. In the “Compact Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MVP)” category, the 2013 KIA Soul received the highest ratings. Both the KIA Optima and Rio came in second in the “Midsize” and “Sub-Compact” vehicle categories.

Ratings were based on over 83,000 new vehicle buyers’ satisfaction of design, performance, comfort, features and style. The purchasers were  surveyed after the first 90 days of owning the vehicle of this year.
