Introducing the 2014 Kia Cadenza!

Kia has unveiled its first attempt at a more luxurious sedan in the United States with the 2014 Kia Cadenza.
Revealed during the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, the Cadenza features Kia’s staple tiger-nose grille with the wraparound tail lamps as well as a larger wheel base and wheels to give it a more sophisticated, European look. The styling of the 2014 Cadenza is no doubt a sharp looking vehicle, but it goes beyond the new elegance the vehicle conveys.

The new Kia, while upgrading in luxury, is still a Kia in all the right ways due to its impressive list of standard features and few option packages. The list of standard features includes everything you would expect to find in a upscale luxury vehicle such as 12-way leather upholstery and wood trim. The Cadenza also comes standard with ambient lighting, an 8-inch display and navigation screen, a 550-watt sound system, and Sirius XM with traffic updates.  There’s also an available upgrade to include a sunroof, retractable sun visor for the rear window, plus a tech package that adds 19-inch wheels, blind spot detention, lane departure, advanced cruise control, and an electronic parking break.

Under the hood, the Cadenza’s engine is a 3.3-liter V-6 with 293 horsepower and 255 lb.-feet of torque that transmits its power to the front wheels using a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Cadenza is expected to go on sale in the spring of 2013.

A Refreshing Re-launch for the Forte Sedan:

The 2014 Kia Forte is getting a style upgrade, and Jim Butler Kia is excited to get some on the lot!

The new upgraded Forte compact is going to resemble its bigger brother, the Kia Optima, a little more. The new Forte will feature Kia’s recognizable “tiger shark” grille, while swept back headlamps and more rounded taillights bring a more modern, less square design. The 2014 Forte will feature available HID headlights along with LED running lights to give certain models a more luxurious feel.

The new Forte is bigger, but not by much. While it’s 1.2 inches longer, 0.2 inches wider and 0.6 inches lower than the previous generation. The design makes it look even longer, wider, and lower than it is thanks to the new models more curved belt-line, side sculpting and swooping roof.

On the inside, a dual-binnacle with center-mounted information screen replaces the three-pod gauge cluster, the steering wheel design has been made to resemble the Optima’s, and the available UVO-infotainment and navigation system comes with a large center stack-mounted screen.
