The 2014 Kia Forte is getting a style upgrade, and Jim
Butler Kia is excited to get some on the lot!
The new upgraded
Forte compact is going to resemble its bigger brother, the Kia Optima, a little
more. The new Forte will feature Kia’s recognizable “tiger shark” grille, while
swept back headlamps and more rounded taillights bring a more modern, less
square design. The 2014 Forte will feature available HID headlights along with
LED running lights to give certain models a more luxurious feel.
The new Forte is bigger, but not by much. While it’s 1.2
inches longer, 0.2 inches wider and 0.6 inches lower than the previous generation.
The design makes it look even longer, wider, and lower than it is thanks to the
new models more curved belt-line, side sculpting and swooping roof.
On the inside, a dual-binnacle with center-mounted
information screen replaces the three-pod gauge cluster, the steering wheel
design has been made to resemble the Optima’s, and the available UVO-infotainment
and navigation system comes with a large center stack-mounted screen.
