The KIA Soul EV Coming to Jim Butler KIA




The all-new KIA Soul EV is coming to the U.S. and Jim Butler KIA can’t wait to get the new Soul on the lot in St. Louis. The KIA Soul EV is set to make its debut at the Detroit auto show in January.

Powered by a 109-hp electric motor which is good for 210 Ib-ft of torque, the KIA Soul EV is the perfect car for city commuters. The KIA Soul EV has a 27-kWh lithium-ion polymer pack that takes just 25 minutes to be fully charged while using a 10-kilowatt circuit.

The KIA Soul EV goes from 0-60 in less than 12 seconds with a top speed of 90 mph. The maximum range of daily miles is 120 miles. The KIA Soul EV will feature 16-inch wheels, LED rear lamps, and projector-beam headlights. The interior comes equipped with an eight-inch screen to display energy data.

The 2014 KIA Forte5 SX Turbo




The all-new 2014 KIA Forte5 SX Turbo will be making its way to Jim Butler KIA in St. Louis. The redesigned forte has been redesigned with improvements and three different body styles.

The 2014 KIA Forte5 SX Turbo will be offered in a formal sedan, a coupe, and a five-door hatch. The KIA Forte5 is bigger and better with 2 inches added on the wheelbase, half-inch longer in length and a bit wider and a little lower.


The performance version of the Forte is the SIX, which features a 1.6-liter turbo four engine. The turbo four engine is good for 201 horsepower and 195 Ib-ft of torque paired with a six-speed manual transmission.  The SIX feels much quicker than what its numbers are.

The 2014 KIA Forte5 SX Turbo has a new chassis with a revised front-strut, and rear-torsion-beam suspension. The Forte5 sits on 225/40-18 Nexen CP67 all-season tires. With the news updates, the 2014 KIA Forte5 SX Turbo has improved all over agility and provides for a smoother ride.

The KIA Red Zone Soul- Jim Butler KIA



KIA has now introduced the limited-edition Red Zone Soul. The Red Zone Soul was displayed at this year’s SEMA show. If the Red Zone Soul makes its way to St. Louis, Jim Butler KIA will be sure to let you know!

The KIA Red Zone Soul exterior features red accents on the front and back of the Soul. The roof of the Soul is a contrasting color from the body paint. The KIA Red Zone Soul also sits on 18-inch wheels to really set it apart from other vehicles. 


The interior has the same red details as the exterior and is contrasting to the dark color scheme inside the KIA Red Zone Soul.  Exposed red steering wheel stitching and dashboard accents give the interior a sleek and stylish appearance.

KIA K900 Coming to Jim Butler KIA


Jim Butler KIA can’t wait for the KIA K900 to finally arrive in the U.S. After a few name changes the K900 made its debut at the L.A. auto show proving to be the vehicle that will take KIA to the next level. The K900 is expected to be in St. Louis sometime next year.

The KIA K900 has direct-injected V-6 and V-8 engines. The base V-6 model is powered by a 3.8-liter V-6 while the K900 V-8 gets a 5.0-liter “Tau.” Both have an eight-speed automatic transmission with 119.9-inch wheelbases.

Both K900 models feature HID headlights, LED fog lights and taillights, rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry and start, heated power-folding side mirrors, complete leather interior, and a 9.2-inch display with navigation, backup camera and front and rear parking sensors.

In addition to the standard features mentioned above, the K900 V-8 model offers 19-inch chrome rollers, LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring and lane-departure warning system.
