The 2011
Kia Forte
Koup joins the Forte Sedan in replacing the Spectra. The Forte
Koup loses the four doors for a more stylish two door look accompanied by
aggressive bodywork that suggests higher performance than the sedan. The
Koup comes standard with a 2.0-liter engine with 156 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque mated up with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic. The front bumper adds a bit of attitude, a pair of fog lights are deeply set in the corners of black surrounds. The rear end is just as unique, with its own taillights, a dual exhaust outlet, and don't forget about the new 17-inch wheels with a two-tone black and silver finish. The interior ergonomics are solid, with a standard arrangement of large buttons and
rotary knobs. The Forte
Koup comes standard with three months of Sirius
satellite radio,
Bluetooth Technology, two 12V outlets and ports for an auxiliary audio cable and
USB. Later this year the Microsoft-sourced
UVO system will be available. The Forte
Koup has a base price of $16,595.
