First KIA displayed the Venga hatchback concept, now they are teasing with a battery electric version.
The Venga EV utilizes lithium polymer batteries, most likely sourced from LG Chem. The battery pack is stored under the floorpan of the electric vehicle (EV).KIA says the Venga has about 112 miles of driving range and a 50 kW fast-charge can recharge the battery to 80% capacity within a 20 minute period, normal charges take 8 hrs. The 80 kilowatt electric motor packs about 206 lb-ft of torque. More details to come!
