Kia Sportage Embodies “Movement That Inspires”, Tops Autotrader’s “Best Cars of 2023” List

The 2023 Kia Sportage commands a large amount of consumer attention and test drive requests here at Jim Butler Kia of St Louis, and each new day seems to bring about new sources of achievement! This model was recently named among Autotrader’s “Best New Cars of 2023” list, confirming to eager drivers nationwide just how appealing its fifth-generation release is. It was honored alongside 10 other top vehicles and is now available with an internal combustion engine, hybrid electric vehicle, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

The redesigned Sportage continues to fully impress lovers of exploration and high-tech features alike, with its versatility and wide appeal. This Best New Cars of 2023 list consists of 11 vehicles selected by a team of experienced editors who have tested and scored new models using a wide range of criteria. With a high level of consideration given to vehicles that display the industry’s best value, only models available for purchase over the next nine months were considered. Base models of vehicles needed to start below $110,000 to be in the running.

What began as a capable and attractive option in the compact SUV category has now been reworked as a very stylish, tech-rich, and leading addition to the competitive and demanding segment. The “Movement that inspires” global brand transformation has very carefully taken into consideration what a savvy and conscious customer need for their ideal vehicle, and this resulted in the rugged X-Pro trim level as well as Sportage HEV and Sportage PHEV powertrains. Another incredibly glowing review from the Edmunds.com auto review team praised the Sportage for its “comfortable ride quality, spacious seating, and massive rear cargo area.”

Also praised highly by the Edmunds crew for its class-leading packing at a competitive price, they also chose to rank the Sportage as their Top-Rated SUV for three years in a row. Eyeballing the competition in the form of the Honda CR-V, Nissan Rogue, and Toyota RAV4, the Sportage has fared amazingly well at the task of remaining more than relevant in the shuffle of current offerings. With incredibly accurate steering and smooth and responsive brakes, the Sportage has you fully covered in the comfort category.

The look and design of the interior are leveled up nicely and don’t leave behind the premise of everyday functionality. Another fantastic and useful addition to the Prestige trim is the excellent surround-view camera system. The touchscreen inputs lockout when you’re on the move, and the Sportage is available with top-notch driver aids such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, a surround-view monitor, and parking assist. The adaptive cruise control is excellent at maintaining sensible gaps without the constant need to tap on the brakes.

With 39.6 feet of cargo space behind the second row and 74.1 cubic feet folded down, the Sportage ranks as one of the most spacious vehicles in its class. The rear seats have very useful anchors that are simple to find in a pinch, and the center console also features a bin that houses USB ports and a wireless pad, with cupholders that retract smartly into the walls for more space when needed. For the long-awaited weekend escape at hand, the Sportage can tow up to 2,000 pounds when properly equipped, which is enough for a small trailer or boat.

Kia Remains Victory-Prone and Valuable as Most-Awarded Brand in 2023 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Awards

2023 Kia Soul

Repeat customers at Jim Butler Kia of St Louis now have even more reason to be excited as they scope out the model of their choice for 2023, as Consumer Guide Automotive ranked Kia as their most-awarded brand. The Soul, Seltos, Sportage, Sorento, and EV6 were all claiming champion recipients of the very prestigious Best Buy Awards. This is the ninth consecutive year that the Soul has fared as champion of the subcompact crossover category, and third year in a row for the Seltos at the top of the stack in the same segment.

Consumers have shifted their “leaning towards spending gaze” at fully electric models, as prices at the pump and general economic uncertainty have drawn attention to petrol-free energy sources. From off-road ready SUVs to crossovers and forward-thinking EVs, Kia’s comprehensive lineup now delivers the excellent design, top-notch quality, and desired technology features that today’s savvy buyers are looking for.

Now thriving as the most awarded brand in Consumer Guide’s 2023 Best Buy Awards marks another pivotal moment for us as we are constantly finding new ways to increase mobility and a personable, while desirable, appeal. Since 1967, Consumer Guide Automotive’s experienced editorial staff has used an in-depth evaluation process to single out the vehicles that are worth the time for serious consideration by discerning consumers. The traits examined to find the dominating models are features, performance, accommodations, fuel economy, reputation for reliability, and resale value.

Our growth as an identifiable innovator has been thrilling to be a part of, with the array of our lineup including something for everyone from the busy family on the go to the new student full of vigor and a diverse lifestyle! Every function from a sense of reasonable value to luxury driving is represented enthusiastically by Kia, as well as breathtaking examples in the corner-conquering sporty category.

The 2023 EV6 came very efficiently roaring onto the scene with its very sleek look inside and out, offering a drive on the thrillingly invigorating side of things. Consumer Reports claimed that this is one of the best electric vehicles they have ever tested, benefiting from a nearly silent cabin and comfortable ride. Quick DC fast-charging in public venues will take the battery from 10-percent to 80 percent in just 18 minutes, which is sure to make the daily driver stand up and take drastic notice. While using the Electrify America network, you’ll nail down 60 miles of range in just 10 minutes!

The 2023 Sportage enthusiastically leads the pack as an entirely new and appealing breed of SUV. It has received wide acclaim for its confidence-inspiring layout, class-leading cargo space, and a very bold design. We personally feel that the Sportage has also won so much approval with busy families worldwide due to its many safety offerings: you are hauling your loved ones in the utmost confidence along with child door locks, child seat anchors, Stability Control, front head curtain airbag, lane departure warning system, pedestrian detection system, rear head curtain airbag, and the very useful rear-view camera.

The New Year is a fantastic opportunity for us to do more than just reflect and make resolutions: as a manufacturer and provider, we pledge to always look for sourcing the best and most Eco-conscious in power. We have been able to achieve loyalty, offer excellent features as standard on entry-level models, and build a diverse following one game-changing model at a time!

2023 Kia Niro PHEV “Trending for the Times” With 33-Mile Electric Range, Prestige of SX Touring Trim

2023 Kia Niro EV

As we constantly are on the hunt for specs and statistics here at Jim Butler Kia of St Louis, we all turn to our tablets and catch up with current events to stay informed. Over the past year the entire industry has been very focused on energy and the many technologies available to conserve and make the best use of it. The 2023 Kia Niro now allows the driving public to enjoy the second generation of this savvy and eye-catching crossover, arriving just in time for its eco-friendly prime.

It comes available as hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and full EV powertrains, with the incoming model currently arriving at dealers nationwide. Both trims share the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder as the power source, turning out 104 horsepower and 106.3 lb-ft of torque. The battery technology that has been present in current and upcoming vehicles is nothing short of amazing, as this particular number is an 11.1 kwh, lithium-ion polymer pack. You’ll be “transforming your own form of kinetic energy” up to 60 mph in 9.6 seconds, and 9.8 seconds on the upper-level SX trim.

The 2023 Niro Plug-in Hybrid is thriftier with gas power than its close relatives, as this model should be capable of nailing down 33 mpg. For the quick metro area commute or weekend big box retail run, the greatest bulk of the mileage can be taken care of with the battery power. The PHEV is a very integral and “testing of the waters” choice for those looking to get a taste of the future that aren’t fully ready to abandon gas power altogether. The new Niro’s appearance is a bit like a high-riding hatchback, but it still has the properties that everyone loves about driving the popular crossover SUVs of today.

The available additional boost from the electric motor is always useful from a complete standstill, and here you are working with 41 more horsepower than the outgoing model. The 6-speed automatic transmission is another terrific trait for anyone who needs their ride to get up and go immediately, and not two blocks later. One area the 6-speed excels in is not lagging off the line for an extra split second, as Continuously Variable Transmissions sometimes do. The 2023 Niro boasts the greatest interior space of Kia’s subcompact category, along with a larger luggage area than the outgoing unit.

The design and tech features that are the main allure for some drivers today are an ample grade way above par here, with a dual-screen display set into the dashboard that adds a very luxurious visual touch. Ground clearance remains the same at 6.3 inches, and another touch we love is the futuristic headlights that are a fitting stance for this genre. With spot-on delivery for mobility simply accessible for everyone, the second-generation Niro was designed from the ground up for striking and sensational daily driving with a conscience!
